Managing Board

The Managing Board is the governing body of the Chamber.
The Board consists of up to 19 members. The President of the Chamber also serves as the President of the Board of Directors.
Members of the Board are elected by the Assembly, based on the proposal of the President of the Chamber. They are elected for a four-year term and may be re-elected.

Reviews and analyzes:

Economic regulations and policy measures;

Global and sector-specific economic trends;

Proposals for current economic policy measures in terms of their impact on business conditions and the development of economic activities;

Defines economic interests and positions for the development of sectoral strategies, and submits reasoned opinions to the competent authorities.
Proposes:

The Statute of the Chamber and general acts adopted by the Assembly;
-
The Chamber’s Annual Work Program;
-
The Chamber’s Annual Report;
-
The Chamber’s Annual Financial Plan;
-
The Annual Financial Statement;
-
The decision on the amount, manner, and deadlines for payment of membership contributions.
Adopts:

General acts of the Chamber that are not within the Assembly’s competence;

Decisions on establishing and closing foreign representative offices;

Decisions on the purchase and sale of real estate;
-
Decisions on establishing and abolishing sectoral association boards;
-
Decisions on calling elections for members of association boards;
-
Decisions on the election and dismissal of association board members, to be verified by the Assembly;
-
The Rulebook on the Organization and Job Classification of the Chamber’s Professional Service, upon the President’s proposal;

The Rules of Procedure of the Board of Directors;
-
Decisions on merging with other forms of associations and organizations, the founding of associations, alliances, or business entities, in accordance with Article 23 of the Statute;

Decisions on establishing councils, centers, coordination committees, and other working or organizational bodies within the Chamber, determining their composition, scope, and mode of operation.
Elects and dismisses:

The Presidency of the Arbitration Court;
-
The President, Deputy President, and Judges of the Court of Honour;

Members of coordination committees as per Article 22 of the Statute;
-
Members of the Chamber Award Committee.
Makes business decisions whose individual value exceeds €100,000, unless otherwise provided for in the Financial Plan.
