Courts within the Chamber

The Arbitration Court and the Court of Honour, which are independent in the decision-making, operate within the Chamber. As an out-of-court form of settlement of consumer disputes, according to specific regulations, the Chamber has the Board for Out-of-Court Settlement of Consumer Disputes.
The Arbitration Court consists of the Presidency and the Secretariat.
The Arbitration Court decides, reconciles and mediates, when its jurisdiction is agreed.
The Arbitration Court is impartial and independent in its work.
An award of the Arbitration Court is final and enforceable and has the same effect as the one of the court order.
The organization, composition, procedure and manner of work of the Arbitration Court are regulated by the general act adopted by the Assembly of the Chamber.
The list of arbitrators is determined by the Presidency of the Arbitration Court.
The Court of Honour decides on issues concerning violations of business ethics and good business conduct occurred during performance of business activities, as well as violations of the provisions of the Statutes, other general acts of the Chamber or the Code of Ethics, irrespective of whether these violations have been made by the Chamber members in the course of their mutual business activities or against third parties.
The Court of Honour is impartial and independent in its work.
Decisions of the Court of Honour are final and enforceable.
The organization, composition, procedure, method of work of the Court of Honour and the measures imposed are regulated by the Rules of the Court of Honour, passed by the Chamber Assembly.
Board for Out-of-Court Settlement of Consumer Disputes
For violations of consumer rights, prescribed by a special regulation, the out-of-court protection is exercised through the Board for Out-of-Court Settlement of Consumer Disputes at the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro.
The Board for Out-of-Court Settlement of Consumer Disputes is an independent body which provides the possibility of out-of-court settlement of disputes between consumers and traders.
The Board is independent in its decision-making.
