The Assembly is the highest governing body of the Chamber.

Members of the Assembly are elected based on territorial and sectoral principles. The Assembly consists of up to 51 members. Members are elected for a four-year term and may be re-elected.

The Assembly of the Chamber:

  1. Defines positions and provides guidelines for the work of the Chamber’s bodies and institutions in the areas of economic development, the economic system, and macroeconomic policy, as well as for the improvement of international economic relations;

  2. Adopts and approves:

  • the Statute of the Chamber;

  • the Chamber’s Annual Work Program;

  • the Chamber’s Annual Report;

  • the Decision on the amount, manner, and deadlines for payment of the membership fee;

  • the Chamber’s Financial Plan;

  • the Chamber’s Financial Report;

  • general acts regulating the organization and functioning of the Arbitration Court and the Court of Honour within the Chamber, as well as procedures within their jurisdiction;

  • codes, special commercial customs, and other rules of conduct;

  • the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly.

  1. Elects and dismisses members of the Board of Directors, the Supervisory Board, the President of the Chamber, Vice Presidents of the Chamber, and the Secretary General of the Chamber.
