<\/p>\nPresident of the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, Dr. Nina Draki\u0107, met on July 18th with the new Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Montenegro, Ruslan Kazakbaev, to discuss possibilities for strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.<\/p>\n
President Draki\u0107 wished the ambassador success in his work, expressing hope that his engagement would stimulate the establishment of business ties. She informed the ambassador about the role of the umbrella association of Montenegro\u2019s economy in improving the business environment, particularly emphasizing its contribution to strengthening international relations. While presenting the Montenegrin economy, Draki\u0107 pointed out that an investment cycle lies ahead, focused on the construction of road infrastructure and the improvement of railway infrastructure. She also noted that there is great potential for further development in Montenegro’s energy sector, tourism, agriculture, and increasingly the information and communication technologies sector, all of which represent excellent opportunities for foreign investors.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Kazakbaev emphasized Kyrgyzstan\u2019s interest in strengthening cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, both characterized by significant economic growth and ambitions for further development in the aforementioned sectors. The meeting was also an opportunity to present Kyrgyzstan\u2019s major capital project \u201cAla-Too Resort,\u201d the largest in the field of winter tourism in the country and the region. The ambassador extended an invitation to investors to participate in the project\u2019s realization, as the auction is currently ongoing. The planned capacity of the resort is 850,000 guests annually, and it will attract skiers with its accessibility and long slopes, the longest of which will be 120 kilometers.<\/p>\n
Du\u0161an Radonji\u0107, Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Chamber of Economy, congratulated the Kyrgyz ambassador on the scale of the project and emphasized that Montenegro is eager to attract investors and further develop tourism along the coast and in the north of the country. According to him, the mutual exchange of experiences with Kyrgyzstan could be beneficial in addressing challenges related to the implementation of such projects.<\/p>\n

During the meeting at the Chamber, the interlocutors agreed that there is ample room to better utilize the potential for trade, tourism, and investment exchange between Montenegro and Kyrgyzstan, and that future communication should be intensified to support this goal.
